Rockstar Closes $3.9M GTA 6 Marketing Deal With Miami

Rockstar Games and Miami-Dade County have completed a $3.9 million agreement to expand GTA 6 marketing across the region. The deal adds airport, port and transportation hub promotions to existing signage already visible in the city. All installations, maintenance and removals will be covered by Rockstar.

Expanded Marketing Package

The agreement builds on earlier placements such as the Vice City sign at the Kaseya Center and includes new media buys through operators at Miami International Airport and the county transit system.

Vice City lighting is scheduled for the airport and PortMiami, along with walkway displays and wrapped traffic-signal cabinets throughout the county.

Earlier proposals for airport and transit branding faced objections from county sheriffs but have now moved forward after further review.

“With millions of people around the world waiting for this release, we have an opportunity to make sure Miami-Dade benefits from that attention.”
